Rachel Crookston – Hospital Manager
Rachel began working at Gray-New Gloucester Animal Hospital in 2001 and became the Hospital Manager in 2003. She was born in Lewiston, Maine and has lived in the area all of her life.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys taking long rides on the weekend or just hanging out with her husband David (of 35 years), and her Chihuahuas Ed and Jessie Belle. Rachel also enjoys adopting cats from the HART Shelter, which we service here at GNGAH. She currently has one cat named Snoopy.
Lauren Hillier – Licensed Veterinary Technician
Lauren joined the Gray-New Gloucester Animal Hospital team in 2010. She has been in the animal care industry for over 15 years, and became a licensed Veterinary Technician in 2014. Her interests outside of work include gardening, reading, hiking with her husband, and spending time with her amazing dogs.
Michelle Hill – Licensed Veterinary Technician
Michelle has been working in the veterinary field for nearly 20 years. She welcomes the challenges and learning experiences that each day brings. Michelle strives to provide the best care she can for each patient every day, be it welcoming a new patient, treating an illness, surgical healing or saying goodbye to an old friend.
Aria Knight – Client Care Specialist
Aria is currently studying Veterinary Technology through Penn Foster University. She loves the work she does with animals at Gray-New Gloucester Animal hospital and all that she is learning during this amazing journey. She currently has a cat named Oreo, who loves accompanying Aria on her outdoor walks. Aria also enjoys evenings around the campfire with her fiancé, and riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes with her family.
Breena Newberry – Client Care Specialist
A native of New Gloucester, Breena joined our team in 2006 after attending Veterinary Technology courses at Becker College. Breena is an avid reader and enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time lakeside at her camp on Sabbath Day.
Jamie Perron – Client Care Specialist
Jamie grew up in Wales, Maine and graduated from high school in 2003. Shortly after, she married her high school sweetheart. Jamie joined the Gray-New Gloucester Animal Hospital team in August of 2008. When she is not working, Jamie can be found at home with her four young children, two dogs, and two cats. In her (very rare!) spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking and going to the ocean.
Rachel Bailey – Client Care Specialist
Rachel "Bailey" has been with Gray-New Gloucester Animal Hospital since 2011. She grew up in the local community of New Gloucester where she learned her love for animals, small and large. In her free time, she loves being with her two energetic Labs Scrappy and Polly, as they always bring her new and exciting adventures.
Rebecca Bailey – Client Care Specialist
Becca grew up in New Gloucester, Maine and graduated from Gray-New Gloucester High in 2008. She has been working at Gray-New Gloucester Animal Hospital for over three years. When not working, Becca enjoys spending time with her dogs, Maple and Phema, hiking, and relaxing on her boat.
Samantha Kahn – Client Care Specialist
Samantha joined the Gray-New Gloucester Animal Hospital team in December 2016. An Old Town native, she began her veterinary career in central Massachusetts, before settling in Naples. She has volunteered at shelters, with a particular passion for rescuing Puerto Rican strays.
When not at work, Samantha enjoys hiking with her dog, Callahan, boating with her husband, Josh, and curling up with a good book and her cat, Isabella.
Wanda Mooney – Client Care Specialist
Wanda was born and raised in New Gloucester. She graduated from Gray-New Gloucester High School and went on to study and graduate from Benard’s School of Hair Fashion. Shortly after, she moved to Virginia, where she trained in K-9 Obedience as well as Confirmation. Wanda has bred and raised Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs and eventually got into showing them, along with other large breeds including Rottweilers, Belgian Malinois and Tibetan Mastiffs.
